DH Choke Valve

MSP/DRILEX DH Choke valve utilizes a pair of adjacent discs made of special tungsten carbide, who are diamond lapped and each has two holes. Rotation of one disc relative to the other disc will alter the flow capacity of the choke. A long service life is realized because the throttling discs moves very little to throttle flow. This choke is designed for drilling mud circulating, surface high pressure injection and manifold. The distinct feature lies in that two discs will be held together by pressure difference between inlet and outlet. Especially with high pressure surge or lowest pressure due to leakage, the pre-settled pressure sensors will automatically shut down the valve to avoid accidents. Another feature of this choke lies in its extended service life, high performance against high capacity and wear.
