MSP/DRILEX Rotating Drilling Heads is an important equipment of under-balanced drilling. MSP/DRILEX Rotating Drilling Heads are rotating stripper rubbers which seal off drill string components while diverting a dust, mud, air/gas, or steam away from the rig floor. Mud, dust, air/gas, or steam is diverted through the side outlet, this keeping the crew and floor area safe.

Please Note: MSP/DRILEX BG Series Rotating Drilling Head is a diverter. MSP/DRILEX provides five seriers of rotating drilling heads for ours custumers. They are designed to respond to the tough requirements of all types of drilling conditions.

• Optional geothermal trim with both a stationary and a rotating stripper in compounds formulated for geothermal use

• Optional dual rotating stripper rubber head for use in horizontal drilling. The dual rubbers provide the improved safety and performance necessary for horizontal drilling

• Integral body with both side outlet and bottom flange for mounting on BOP

• Shock cushion of drive bushing absorbs lateral impact ensuring dependable bearing performance

• Drill bit passage permitted with the removal of the drive bushing simply by loosening a single bolt clamp. Can change stripper rubbers with the removal of the bearing assembly simply by loosening a single bolt clamp

• Integral lifting eyes allow ease of movement for quick hook-up the BOP or other units
