M BOP is used to
under-balanced drilling and under pressure working.
Based on normal annular BOP, it adds the rotated
function. M BOP is designed according to MSP/DRILEX
Spec.
Rotating BOP automatically
compensates the wear of rubber of packing unit during
drilling and maintains sound sealing. It hydraulic
control system pressure is always higher than that of
well-bore, thus it prevents the drilling fluid of the
well-bore from entering the hydraulic control system.
Meantime, pressure in the hydraulic control system could
be adjusted manually to ensure best sealing quality with
minimum loss of rubber. Moreover, pressure in the
hydraulic control system could be automatically adjusted
to minimize the pressure differentials between dynamic
seals. As a result, it expands the lifetime of the
dynamic seals. 11"diameter M BOP allows the smooth
passage of various bits and down-hole tools without
removal of M BOP. Packing element could seal on all
different kinds of drill pipes, including square Kelly.
