Lock-down Screw

MSP/DRILEX utilizes Lock-down Screws for all CQS spools and housings. It features packing in front of the threads to guard threads from contamination caused by well fluids behind screw. In addition, the threads are guarded against atmospheric corrosion by an external oil seal. Lock-down Screws can be replaced while in service.

Test Port

All MSP/DRILEX test ports, applicable to a complete range of working pressure, can meet or exceed the API 6A Type II and be vented safely.

Injection Port

Injection ports are available for energizing or re-energizing the secondary seals for casing and tubing spools. Each is equipped with a built-in ball check valve.
